I want to raise my glass to another Virgo artist, Freddy Mercury. I love Freddy Mercury as performer. He had style and panache. And we all know that he had an amazing voice. His voice was so remarkable that they did a scientific study on it.

Published in the journal Logopedics Phoniatrics Vocology this year, “this study presents an acoustical analysis of his voice production and singing style, based on perceptual and quantitative analysis of publicly available sound recordings.” This posthumous study found that he had at least a three octave range and was a master at modulating his voice. He used the technique of vibrating the ventricular folds of his larynx and creating subharmonics. This technique is also used by Tuvan throat singers.  The musicality is from another plane.  If you listen to Bohemian Rhapsody with that in mind it adds another dimension to this classic rock song. It becomes almost heavenly and just adds to the fact that “God blessed a Queen”.

Taurus – King of Swords – Okay second King in a row so let’s look at that first. Kings mean to rule. Last week you ruled your charm and emotions. This week it is time to strength your mind. The King of Swords is all about logic and knowledge. The challenge around the King of Swords just like cups is try not to overpower people with your ideas. Gemini – Seven of Wands – So the chaos may have subside from last week but the pace still is a bit frantic. The Seven of Wands’ challenge is to keep focused. Cancer – Eight of Cups – The Eight of Cups’ lesson is around emotion cleansing. You need to find some quiet space and lighten your emotional load.   There are some emotions that are weighing you down and you need to release them so you can go on to a new phase. This can look like a simple closet clean – that dress you wore 10 years ago that even when you lose that weight it is “out of fashion.”, or old spices in your cabinet – you now that expensive curry spice that has been in there for years because you wanted to learn how to make Indian food. Your challenge this week is to get rid of at least eight – thoughts, ideas, emotions and/or things that no longer work for you. I Want to Break Free

Leo – Three of Pentacles – If you didn’t get your bed rest from last week then you are feeling a bit drained. If you did get bed rest you will be better off this week. No matter which one, the Three of Pentacles’ challenge is to get grounded and gain some focus on what to do to get to the next step. Now here is the cool thing, if you can get grounded the “next step” will come in easily. Virgo – Knight of Wands – Last week “you got this” continues this week; however, the pace begins to quicken throughout the week. Your only challenge is to keep up with the tempo and try not to drag your feet. When you come up to a problem your intelligence and tenacity will solve it. “Keep on keeping on.” ( and just on a side note according to the cards so far, you all really haven’t had time to celebrate your birthday month or think about the future. *Libra – Empress – Okay, The Empress starts your wind down to your birthday month. The Empress’s lesson all have to do with creativity, home, comfort, and material abundance. It is a way to keep you focused. If you actually use it correctly, it will help train your mind to see and make happen opportunities that lead you to your desired destiny. For example, you create one for the perfect living room and you notice that your vision board is all blues. Scorpio – Page of Pentacles – We are out of the soul work phase and back to earth with the pentacles. Page of Pentacles wants you to get your hands dirty. The lesson with the Page of Pentacles is you will learn more this week by doing then by thinking. This can look like making a pie from scratch, building something, getting into the garden or learning how to knit. This week you need to keep your hands busy, so your mind can soak in all the pondering you have done the last three weeks. We Will Rock You

*Sagittarius – Death – This is the fifth time you all have gotten the Death card in eleven months. This is more than any other sign with this card. That means the last 11th months have brought about a change in your life, and it has done it in five spurts. You all have been organically letting something die so that you can grow anew.   So, I did a little astro research and this makes sense because Saturn has been hanging out in Sagittarius since September 2015. Capricorn – Four of Pentacles – The Four of Pentacles’ lessons are around feeling as if you don’t have enough time or money. The challenges are really around how you are managing either or both. When the Four of Pentacles shows up it is time to re-look at your resources and be realistic about what you can do with them. You feel as if you have less because you are over extending yourself, your time and or money. Aquarius – The Knight of Wands – Last week you got The Star heralding that things are swing back to the positive, you are healing, and have a goal in mind. The Knight of Rods continues this theme that you are on a positive path. The challenge is you can be distracted from your goals. Pisces – Seven of Cups – The theme of finding gold continues this week with the Seven of Cups. The Seven of Cups’ lesson are around using your imagination for the good. This week set aside time to do some daydreaming. The challenge is that daydreaming needs to be productive. So how does that look in your life? Here is an example: if you have been dreaming about a new home, go look on Zillow but also click into how much your mortgage will be – then readjust your maximum dollars range. The goal is to continue day-dreaming up that nice house, it is just to realize you have the ability to find the gem for a lower price. I Want it All
