Hi all,

Hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, fires, tsunamis, floods are devastating. These natural disasters happen to everyone at some point in their lives. Natural Disasters unlike humans do not see borders, countries, or pay attention to “us versus them” controversy. Mother Nature is the great equalizer. These natural “disasters” have both positive and negative effects. Fires make way for new growth, earthquakes make continents, hurricanes spread plant species…

One of the challenges Mother Nature poses to us is to see who we really are or want to be. Disasters bring us the opportunity of choice to be selfish and price gouging those in need or to be world minded and help. Whether you are dealing with one of these disasters now or not, I challenge you to go check on your neighbor, donate to The Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders or even just stop and open the door for someone. Take these disasters as opportunities to show the better side of humanity.

Aries – Page of Swords – Page of Swords is telling you to do some investigative work before making a decision or starting a new project. This week’s challenge is to practice the skill of measuring twice so you can cut once.

Gemini – Four of Wands – Last week the Magician challenged you to stop gathering, plotting, or preparing and just do it. This theme continues with the Four of Wands. This card emphasizes that you can do a lot with what you have already in place or even with less. Travel lightly this week.

*Cancer – Magician – You have all the tools to create whatever you want this week. Stop hemming and hawing – start making and see what comes out of it. This week shake off your worries about outcomes and experiment.

Leo – Queen of Swords – Last week’s challenge from the Magician continues this week with the Queen of Swords. The Queen of Swords advise you to use your wits to work with what you have already at hand. Your only challenge is don’t be too bossy.

*Virgo -Wheel of Fortune – The Wheel of Fortune foretells that you have the potential to make a life altering decision this week. The challenge with the Wheel is spinning it.   Will you take a stand this week, step up to the wheel and take a chance? The amazing lesson with this card is the action of spinning the week starts a reaction of change in your life. It may take some time before you see where the wheel will land, but when it does you will find your fortune has changed.

Libra – Eight of Wands – The last two weeks of stagnation lifts this week. Information starts to flood in and action starts to flow The challenge with this card is feeling overwhelmed and jumping on the first thing that comes by you. One hint is to prioritize both the information and your work this week. Start out slow this Monday, and then pick up speed as the week progresses.

Scorpio – Nine of Wands – The Nine of Wands advises that the best use of our time is in preparation. This week finish up projects, prepare for new ones, and do not start anything new. If you do begin a project, you will find that you may have the hammer but not the nails to keep anything in place.

Sagittarius – Queen of Wands – Queen of Wands advises you to get out in to nature, see some art, or enjoy some music. You are in need of experience something that creates awe in your life. Your soul needs some tending.

Capricorn – Seven of Wands – The Seven of Wands is all about focus. You r environment is up to its old tricks of hitting your ADD buttons. There is just so much to do- Squirrel, to see – Squirrel, to taste – Squirrel, and to hear Squirrel.  (If you are not familiar with the Squirrel reference click here) Your challenge is to pick one thing and do it to completion or at least as far as you can go with it. Only then you can move to the next thing on the list.

Aquarius – Six of Pentacles – The Six of Pentacles’ lesson is around the concept of karma or what goes around comes around. This week everything you put out there comes back to you three fold. If you are nice or positive, positive things will happen, or if you mean or negative, negative things will come to you. The challenge with this card is the return of karma is never a straight path.

Pisces – Knight of Wands – Last week, The High Priest challenged you to get organized to create ease in your life. This theme continues with the Knight of Wands. This card means you are on the right path- continue on. The only challenge is remembering your spirit is as important to your life goals as any of the other planes (material, mental or emotional). Make time to feed your spirit – read a book for enjoyment, listen to music, do art, or be in nature.
