Last week, the Justice card advises you to focus on fairness, truth, clarity in your life and that it all takes time. The King of Wands continues these themes this week. His only challenge is asking how are these themes aligning with your spirit.
Leo – Ace of Pentacles
The Ace of Pentacles says this is the week to start something new, travel to a new place, and/or enjoy new a meal at a new restaurant. The challenge is to try out a few new physical pleasures that this varied world has to offer.
*Virgo – Fool
The Fool reminds you to take a risk sometime this week. Try a new restaurant, say Hi to a stranger, ask out that person you been eyeing on a date. The Fool challenges you to try out the New. You will only become wiser from the experience.
Libra – Four of Cups
Last week, the Sun shone on you and your environment. The Four of Cups continues this theme of plenty, but your are challenged because you cannot see the bounty as easily as you did the last week. It still is in front of you but not in the form that you are used to. One hint is to see the amazing in the ordinary.
Scorpio – Five of Cups
The Five of Cups brings with it a sense of melancholy and sadness brought on by the “shouldas, couldas, and wouldas.” Your challenge is not focusing on the spilled milk or see the cups as empty, but to see the cups waiting to be filled with something new, healthier or more fun.
Sagittarius – Knight of Swords
More Swords for you this week. Your challenge from the Knight of Swords is to think before you act. You might think this is an easy assignment, but the world will throw you some curve balls where it may be hard to keep your mouth shut. And please be careful to not rush this week. This can literally play out by being careful with your appendages. The goal this week is to keep quiet, slow and steady with all your body parts intact.
*Capricorn – Death
Death is the card of slow change. This week you will need to let something metaphorically die, so from its ashes something new can grow. Think of this week of shedding your old skin for a new one. This can look as simple as getting rid of old clothes that no longer work for you, or as big as beginning the process of forgiving and let go of some major disappointment in your life. The challenge is knowing this process will take longer than you think or hope for things to truly change and grow.
*Aquarius – Hangman and Ace of Pentacles
The Hangman is your first big card for your birth year. The Hangman says that this is a year of healing. A time to slow things down, sit in contemplation, allow yourself time to think. You will need this space and pace because you also got the Ace of Pentacles which means this is a year of new beginnings on your work front. Your challenge is while you are create a new life, experiencing new things you will need to balance it with times of contemplation, so you can integrate all the new things you will be learning in the coming year.
*Pisces – Empress
The Empress challenges you this week to start planting the seeds that you want to sprout in your coming birth year. Her lesson is that growth of any kind takes time and tending. So think of this year like a pregnancy, you got 9- 10 months to prepare and grow your new life. And don’t forget the first couple of months may involve morning sickness.
