Happy Birthday Month Libras.

Above is a picture of the Pegasus sculpture in the park called Monsters of Bomarzo in Lazio, Italy. In 1552, Prince Pier Francesco Orsini commissioned architect Pirro Ligorio to design the gardens and Simone Moschino to sculpt the “monsters”. The garden was born as the “Villa of Wonders” to be one of a kind a journey through mythology and fantasy. However, the death of the Prince’s wife, Giulia Farnese, change the tone of parts of the garden.

During the 1800’s until 1954 the park became overgrown and faded into obscurity until Giovanni Bettini and Tina Severi bought the property and spent the next twenty years restoring it. He and Tina’s tombs now occupy the Temple of Eternity the memorial building for Giulia Farnese.

I picked this artwork to represent Libra for this park is like Libra’s lessons which represent the precarious balance of love and sadness, beauty and the macabre, life and death… Libra’s mission is to give us hope and lets us perceive that the good usually balances out the bad, but we need both to feel the other.

Aries – Queen of Pentacles – The Queen of Pentacles is about enjoying creature comforts this week. Enjoy good food, take bubble baths, relax on couch or hammock and read books, talk with love ones, and take walks during sunset. You have one life with these particulars gifts. *Taurus – Moon – The Moon and Taurus actually get along pretty well. In astrology having a Taurus Moon is pretty auspicious. This week will be a pretty emotional week, but if you keep yourself grounded you will fare nicely. The challenge with the Moon is to express your emotions. The action of that release will change your mood to the positive like the Moon changes from dark to light.

*Gemini – The Star – Whoa, this is the third big card for you all. For the past two weeks the High Priestess and the Moon have wanted you to do some deep thinking about a project or your life. Now the Star, the card of healing and enlightenment, has arrived, so whatever conclusion or solution you have come to it is a good one. The Star challenges you to have learned to sink in. This is a week to just let things flow, heal, and settle.

Cancer – Queen of Wands – The Queen of Wands wants you to focus on creation this week. This card wants you to connect to your inner core, ignite your passion and create. This is a week to explore the arts, music, dance, and/or nature. Your soul is needing a re-boot.

Leo – Eight of Wands – Last week The High Priest challenged you to pick one thing to be more efficient at and work on it to make it so. Well, guess what you have another week to do just that, but the Eight of Wands is challenge you to pick the next thing. The combination of these two weeks will bring you more positive and useful information then what you have been getting since your birthday.

Virgo – Seven of Wands – Focus, Focus , focus. So for a some of you this literally means go get your eyes checked. There is nothing direly wrong. It just if you are literally, if your vision if fuzzy, when this card shows up – get yourself to optometrist. Now for the other half of you that are dealing with the metaphorically part of focusing. Your short term goals are not lining up with your long terms goals- one of them needs to be adjusted.

Libra – Four of Wands- Last week, the Magician herald that this is a year of doing and experimenting. This week the Four of Wands wants you to celebrate your life. This is a great week to get comfortable in your new birthday suit. We shed and re-grow our skin around every 27 days. So every month you are a New You. What are the next twelve new Yous wanting to experience?

*Scorpio – Hangman – This seems to be an annual thing for you all. Last year around this time you had a bunch of big cards. Last week, the Sun asked you to focus your energy on what you want to grow in your life or what project you want to start. You have another week to contemplate your garden/project. The Hangman challenges you to broaden your perspective. You just aren’t thinking big enough. Trust yourself.   You can reach for the stars, though you will take an unique and innovated route to get there.

*Sagittarius – Magician – “Now is the time” the Magician says. This week is a week to do – grab the brass ring . You do not need to research or gather more tools or experience. This week the Magician challenges you to get in there and work it girl.

Capricorn – Nine of Cups – Last week the Chariot challenge you to practice balancing while moving. This week the Nine of Cups is more of the same. However, where last week you needed to balance the material plane, this week the focus shifts to the emotional one. The challenge is to spend time doing the activities that stoke positive emotions in your life.   You know that the negative exist but you do not need to acknowledge every five minutes.

Aquarius – Eight of Pentacles – Last week, the Magician asked you – what do you want to create, challenge you to let go of expectations and have fun experimenting. This week the Eight of Pentacles continues the theme, except that it wants you hone your focus to improving one skill or task at a time.

Pisces – Seven of Pentacles – The past two weeks have been all work and barely any play. I hate to inform you this trends continues. But with what you learned on how to stay focused and take things to completion, the Seven of Pentacles’ challenge to keep up the pace will feel easy. You are now like a seasoned pro-athlete. You can now envision yourself running the race and crossing the finish line.
