The Arctic tern Sterna paradisaea, seen above, has the longest-distance migration of any bird, and sees more daylight than any other, moving from its Arctic breeding grounds to the Antarctic non-breeding areas.  The shortest migration is the North American Blue Grouse. It migrates from pine forests to deciduous woodlands, about 300 meters (about the height of the Empire State Building). The bird with the fastest migration is Great snipes who can complete a transcontinental flight from Sweden to sub-Saharan Africa in two days without resting at an average speed of 97 kilometers (about 60.27 mi) per hour.

I will miss them visiting because for me they are harbingers of abundance.  My friend, knowing that they are important to me, bought me a feeder for our housewarming gift.  And then I bought 3 more. The moon begins in Aquarius – think outside the box.   On Wednesday it moves into Pisces –go with the flow.  On Friday, the moon moves into Aries–start a new home project

Mercury (communication and knowledge) has 2 more weeks in Virgo (analyzation).  So, lessons continue with getting to the point when communicating.  Being clear and concise is the goal.  Mars (action) moved into Libra (balance) until Oct 12th. Having us purview that our actions justify our goals    While Venus (beauty and harmony) is in Leo until October 8th.  It is also in its last two weeks having us explore the question: Does your outward expression of yourself harmonize with who you are within?
