Tarot and Art Forecast for Week of Jan 2, 2022

Lucia Heffernan
Lucia Heffernan
Happy 2022!

This week’s artist is Lucia Heffernan @luciaheffernan.  Heffernan paints animals in human situations. This anthropomorphic view is often used in comics, cartoons, and children’s books.  We are all familiar with Cassius M Coolidge’s Dog’s Playing Poker paintings to advertise cigars in the early 1900’s or Bugs Bunny.  Often animals are used to characterize and/or make fun of human behaviors.

The difference with Heffernan’s work is the animal is represented first and then the human characteristics are layered on top.  As she says, “This collision between animal and human sensibilities creates a whimsical, theatrical, and often humorous world that viewers can relate to on an emotional level.” Heffernan allows us to see that we are animals too and that we can discover our own humor and innocence in the reflection of our fellow earthly companions.

I picked her Yoga Chick series because it resonates with how we all like to make goals for the coming year.  A friend of mine (thanks Lou and @cynyassy) sent me this cartoon that asked when goal setting- are you committing to the outcome or the process?  By committing to the just the goal you may not get there and if you do what next?  But if you commit to the process then you are learning along the way.  So, no setbacks, no failure just expansion.  Just like in yoga (or any spiritual practice), you don’t go in thinking I will downward dog four times.  The goal with the practice is the practice.  So, your pondering for the week – what process are you willing to commit to?

Solar System highlights:  The Moon starts this week in Capricorn – great time to start a practice, business, or project.  Then moves into Aquarius on the 3rd  – innovation is key.  Then onto Pisces for the 5th – a great time for dreaming.  And moon ends in Aries – spend the weekend in motion.  Mercury is in Aquarius – find new ways to communicate.  Venus is in Capricorn – where beauty and harmony are achieved through practicality.  Mars is in Sagittarius a lovely time to expand and explore not only your environment but your mind.  Jupiter is in Pisces; this aspect is dreamy and holds opportunity and luck.  And Saturn is still in Aquarius – so innovating and upping your game is its focus.

P.S. Signs with an * it is a big week for you. Capricorn this is a perfect time to get an Astrological Tarot Reading for your coming year.  And Cancer it is your halfway mark for your birth year, so if you need a Planetary Reading for a check-in, now is the time.

May light be on you, around you, and within you,

Nina

King of Cups – Your typical MO is action.  “Let’s get things done”, but this week you will need to get in touch with your emotions.  Instead of making a to-do list.  Make a to-feel list.  What do you want to feel in the coming year?

Taurus
Lucia Heffernan

*Tower – You need to start this year by doing a “building inspection” of your life.  Something is making you off kilter, or there are cracks that need tending to before you start the year.  Your foundations need stabilizing.  So, start this year by doing some deconstruction before you start constructing.

Gemini

Four of Cups – Introspection is the name of the game this week.  Yep, some deep belly-button gazing is required before you start this year.  By doing this you will find 3 wonderful gems of insight.  However, keep one ear/eye open for messages from outside sources that will help you with your last bit of info.

*Temperance – You will need to start your year in the slow lane.  This week is about honing your skills in balance, patience, and moderation.  By not rushing into the year, you can stabilize your energy, so you can better unite with the flow instead of swimming against it.

Leo
Lucia Heffernan

Ten of Coins – The start of this year is around wealth.  The challenge is that your wealth does not come from one source.  Yes, the material plane cannot be denied, but you need to reassess your place on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.  By changing your perspective from lack to a desire for growth, you see that some of your needs are met and which ones need to be boosted.

Virgo
Lucia Heffernan

Four of Swords – The beginning of this year is centered around rest.   Rest in its verb form is defined as cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength. Your challenge is to still yourself – mind, body and spirit, so you can recharge your batteries.  Do things like unplug, sweat lodges, deep water massage, stare out your window for hours…

Libra
Lucia Heffernan

Two of Cups – Love is the energy that starts off your new year.  Love is defined as feeling deep affection for _____. Spend this week filling in the blank as many times as you can.

Scorpio
Lucia Heffernan

Ace of Swords – Insight and clarity are the themes to the start of this year. Take this week to modernize an old inspiration, motto, truth into this new decade.  You are rewiring your brain to update your prime directive, a past paradigm or thinking process.

Sagittarius
Lucia Heffernan

*High Priestess – Sacred knowledge is being delivered to you this week.  Use your intuition or spiritual practice to tap into the flow of information masked in synchronicities, riddles, and Fae energy.  Dance in the moonlight, follow willow wisps, do radio divination – find ways to tap into the source.

Capricorn
Lucia Heffernan

Knight of Cups – This year starts with the energy of the romance.  For those that know you well, under your can-do practical personality lies a gushy romantic.  It is time for you to turn on your charm and caring for ones closest to you.  Connection and intimacy are key for the start of 2022.

Aquarius
Lucia Heffernan

Nine of Swords – As you start 2022 you need to deal with your pessimism.  Yes, 2021 was harsh and frustrating for you, but it is also the beginning of a 20-year cycle where you are in your groove and the rest of us catches up with how you think, and problem solve.  Let go of your worry and upgrade your natural gifts of flexibility and adaptability.

Pisces
Lucia Heffernan

*Strength – Last year you faced and subdued many of your demons.  So, this year starts with acknowledging them and checking on their leashes.  You start this year much stronger than at the beginning of 2021, so 2022 will be easier.   But the challenge is believing that you have done the hard stuff, that you are smarter and stronger.  That you have and will endure.

Happy Nurturing Energy Day or Mother’s Day. Today is a celebration of not only Mother’s but the nurturing and caring energy that is associated with Motherhood.  The artist I picked this week is based on that caring energy, for this is a love story of a daughter to her Mum and an artist’s love for her subjects.

This week’s artist is Tish Murtha. Her daughter, Ella, has lovingly collected and showcases her mother’s work. Murtha’s style is social documentary photography.  She used the camera as a tool for social change by highlighting the societal disadvantages in her local community.  Part of this collection, highlighted here, is around young people in the late 1970’s to the early 1980’s in North East England.

There is a quality to Murtha’s work, unlike the voyeuristic style of Lisette Model or raw images of Diane Arbus, this is a love story.  The unconditional love that a mother gives to a child, or any true nurturer gives to another.  Murtha offers not the typical perspective of outsider looking in but an insider lovingly opening her world and inviting us in.  She frames the pictures and captures the actions of her subjects, though in a raw environment, showing the joy and imagination of childhood to the beginnings of self-awareness and  status in society as teens.  And as adult viewers she leads us to ponder our own childhood and a create a more empathetic eye around social justice issues.  Reminding us to come at both as gently, protectively and supporting as an empathic nurturer would.

Today is Mother’s Day in the States. For those of you who are lucky enough to have a mother that unconditional loves you, be grateful.  But, for those who do not have lost their mother, never knew her, lost children, have mother/child relationships that are strained, have not chosen to be mothers and those that are still yearning to be.  Mother’s Day is about nurturing, unconditionally supporting and protecting those around you.  This world needs nurturing especially right now, so hug the people that cherish you and be that loving nurturer for others.

Planets:  Mercury is in Gemini until July 11th.  This is a place where it loves to hang so lots of evolutionary conversations can happen.  And Venus also is in Gemini helps with the good vibes.  The New Moon is in Taurus emphasizing you to bring more beauty and slow living into your life.  Think luxuriating.  And then Jupiter (expansion) takes a quick jaunt into Pisces from the May 13th to July 28th giving you a heads up what your 2022 will be like and what area your growth will take place.

P.S. Signs with an * it is a big week for you.  Taurus this is a perfect time to get an Astrological Tarot Reading for your coming year.  And Scorpio it is your halfway mark for your birth year, so if you need a Planetary Reading for a check-in, now is the time.

*Hermit – The Muse of Perspective through seclusion has come to lead you to a quiet place where you can hear yourself think.  This energy comes when being in the flow of things is distracting you from ease or finding an easier solution.  You know that saying work smarter not harder.  Well to find that you need to turn off your phone and put out the do not disturb sign.  You will find perspective and solutions in the solitude of your own thoughts.

Seven of Cups – Last week the Muse of Creation came to rife with you this birth year. This is the Mother/Nurture card energy at its best when it is used to generate anything that nurtures, consoles, and promotes growth.  The challenge is growing pains but there will also be compassion and comfort waiting in the wings to support you.   This week continues that energy and asks you to ponder what do you want to create with the Muse of Dreams?  She challenges you to dream bigger, put aside your practical self for just this week and send out big, beautiful birthday wishes to the Universe.  The universe works in mysterious ways if you allow it.  Your Motto: Grow to Dream; Dream to Grow.

*Devil – This being your final weeks of the past birth year it is appropriate that you would get the Muse of Tests.  Take this week to look back at the time since your last birthday.  Where were you tested/challenged?  What did you learn from it?  If the situation/problem came up again, how would you handle it now?  Think of this week as your final exams before you go to the new level in your coming birth year.

*Moon – Okay another round with the Moon.  This is your third week in the shadow realm.   These muses help you work with cycles, the bigger picture, and snipping karmic threads.  Only by lovingly bringing out your old karmic patterns with ritual, meditation, art in all its forms, or repetitive work can you connect to your higher flow, inner knowledge, and outer guides.  There is wisdom in awe, silence, synchronicities, and patterns, so keep all your six senses open for another week.

Ten of Cups – The last couple of weeks you had the ability to wield some powerful energies of Momentum and Strength.   These energies help combat apathy, misdirection, or self-doubt.  And remind you can accomplish anything you set your heart (not your mind) to.   You get this last week to wrap up any loose ends with these energies.  So, plan out the coming months and strengthen the reason you have chosen this path.  But also find some time this week to rejoice in how far you have come.

Scorpio

King of Wands – The Muse of Art is here to inspire you.  Spend time this week either participating in art or watching it.  When this Muse shows up she tries to shake things up so innovation can take place.  But to get into this headspace you must immerse your self in art forms, music, dance, fine arts, etc.… The juxtaposition of art and inspiration re-ignites your passion and expands your mind to find alternative and better ways to work.

Four of Swords – The Muse of Balance and Moderation came last week to help you dive into what is not working and needs to be healed in both your inner and outer worlds.  Well, you get another week to rebalance, rework, and re-new.  The Muse of Rest and Restoration is here asking you to slow down.  Find time to rest your mind this week, so you can hone into the flow with more ease in the coming months.

Capricorn

Knight of Cups – The Muse of Flirtation has come to release you from your hardcore work ethos you have been using to make it through the past months to year. This Muse promotes smart-ass joy.  It takes the form of puns, goofiness, superman gestures, and eyelash flutters accompanied by “Who me?” …  So, practice adult humoring this week.  This wit practice keeps joy in your life while sharpening your mind.

Tarot and Art Forecast for Week of March 14, 2021

Cecil Kemperink
Blue Rising Cecil Kemperink 50x40x40cm.

Happy Spring Equinox. The zodiac wheel completes another turn on Saturday March 20th.  The sun moves into Aries and all the planets are in direct motion until end of April so great time to get things done and started.  But remember relaxation should be part of your equation. The new norm is innovation that has us working smarter not harder.

This week’s artist is Cecil Kemperink @cecilkemperink.  One first comes to her work above as a minimalistic piece.  She uses one material clay and one shape a circle.  However, Kemperink then interlinks these clay circles and we begin to see how something as simple can become a complex “organism.”  That through connection these pieces can be reformed into a variety of shapes while emitting a soul-chorded sound.  We now see that this simple circle when linked to each other becomes more versatile, strong because of the connection.  Kemperink explains Motion is a key part of the expressiveness of my sculptures.  The movements show the importance of each circle of the object.  Every ring is essential and influences the other: because they are all connected.

Note:  this article will not do her pieces justice.  Please go to her Instagram page and watch not only her process but also the motion and sound of her pieces.

Your ponderings for the week:  As we move into a new season, see, and appreciate your connections, for they confirm your existence, purpose, and make you stronger.

May light be on you, around you, and within you,

Nina

Every time you do you will be certain to find something you have never seen before.  – Alexander Graham Bell.

Tarot and Art Forecast for Week of March 7, 2021

Bisa Butler
I know why the Caged Bird sings Bisa Butler

If you all have been with me for a while skip down to the 4th paragraph, I have ranted on this before.  But if you are new…… I was an elementary coach for teachers and I am not fond of the emphasis and exaltation of a “minority” history months in American public schools and on Google.  Before you get mad please read on.  Though I understand its necessity when this movement started, back in 1926 as Black History Week by historian Carter G. Woodson.    Where he saw little to none African American representation in the “white halls of history” and probably was seeing the whitewashing of the Red Summer.  History week has now grown to a month, added new months for other minorities and spreading outside of America.  But have we now fallen into Hallmarking ™ history? In our political correctness, lost the thread?

Textbooks and curriculum of American schools still teach basically the same history– white-male-centric – but now in February you teach about MLK, in March about Susan B. Anthony, and Native American Heritage Month in November, so you can get it close to Thanksgiving – UGH.   This does the “minority’s history” an injustice.  First it loses its context in history as a whole.  The “minority” becomes not part of our shared history but as a parallel thing happening alongside predominately white male history or is only seen for a month in bubble in and of itself.  We lose the why it came about and the reverberation of that action now.

Secondly, it supports instead of works against our biological perspective of tribalism.  And we lose the perspective of the history of the individual within the collective.  The acts of an individual echoing through time and space. Lastly, this undermines teaching the student not only Socratic thinking which hinges on contextual information, but also disempowers the student to see that they can change the course of the future in ways they would never imagine.

The artist this week is Bisa Butlers @bisabutler should be used as a history teaching tool. She takes everyday photos of African Americans throughout history and contextualizes them by using exquisite fabrics and an skilled illustrative thread.  Take for instance the art above I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, she uses a Vlisco fabric called “Michelle’s shoes” for the woman’s skirt on the far right.  The fabric is inspired by West African textiles, done with and Indonesian batik and made in the Netherlands.

She vividly leads us to see the complex connected thread of these woman’s history, African roots to Maya Angelo and Michelle Obama to our multi-cultural world.  She brings these “everyday” people into a contextual history.   In her words: …I am telling the story— this African American side— of the American life. History is the story of men and women, but the narrative is controlled by those who hold the pen. ……..My community has been marginalized for hundreds of years. While we have been right beside our white counterparts experiencing and creating history, our contributions and perspectives have been ignored, unrecorded, and lost. It is only a few years ago that it was acknowledged that the White House was built by slaves. Right there in the seat of power of our country African Americans were creating and contributing while their names were lost to history. ………My subjects are African Americans from ordinary walks of life who may have sat for a formal family portrait or may have been documented by a passing photographer. Like the builders of the White House, they have no names or captions to tell us who they were.

Your ponderings for the week:  Learn the why behind something in your own history, and see how it affects you now and would you tweak it to change the future?  And the Planets:  New Moon in Pisces on March 13th great day for daydreaming.

May light be on you, around you, and within you,

Nina

*Fool – The Muse of Leaps is here to help you out of a rut you may not realize you are in.  The key to this is to do the non-routine.  Sleep late or get up with the sunrise, turn off all electronics after sunset for a night, eat for one day without cooking unless over an open fire, do not look at your emails for a 24-hour period.  I know you all love your routines, but this week shake it up and see what new ideas sprout from the cracks.

Queen of Coins – The Muse of Physical Pleasures is here to help you through this week.  This muse comes when you need to ground yourself.  She reminds you to connect with your five senses if you can daily.  Eat good food, see beautiful things, feel something textural, smell some aromatherapy, and listen to your favorite music.   Enjoy the simple things in life.

Pisces

*Death – Ok so this rarely happens but the Muse of Organic Change arrives again during your birth month to remind you how important this year is to make big changes happen.  And to do so you need to release, release, and release some more.   And while you are doing all this releasing you are using this “stuff” to compost new soil to grow from.  The challenge with this energy is having the patience and attunement with your surroundings like a gardener.  You need to pay attention to the cycles of growth and harvesting.  This can be a year where you are planting and harvesting each season.

Victoria Villasana
Victoria Villasana

Welcome 2021!

The artist this week is Victoria Villasana (@villanaart).  Villasana uses yarn like bold strokes of paint applied to black and white photographs.  She leaves the threads uncut connecting the 2D to the 3D, the past to the present and us to her.  Leaving these strings hanging has the viewer contemplating the concepts of ephemerality, imperfection of our everyday existence, connections and what is next.  These concepts of will be important skills and perspectives needed in 2021.  This is a great week to ponder how will you weave your threads of fate in the coming months?  What new pictures will you connect with and conjure forth?

King of Swords – This muse aids in long-term planning.  Play attention to any synchronicities or insights from outside sources that can help you focus on your plans for 2021.  She also inquires: Where would you like to be in 2021?  Who would you like by your side?  How will you spend your time this year?   What will your focus(es) be?  Vision boards (pictures and/or words) are helpful with this exercise.

Devil – The muse energy this week is to free yourself of old stories that have bound you to past recollections of self.  You are stepping into your own sovereignty.  Unbind the strings of old puppeteers and release the lies you have accepted as truths.  You are free to be the real girl/boy/they that you were born to be.  Now is the time to take control of your new narrative.

Eight of Coins – Take this week to work on your craft.  You are skilled.  This muse reminds you that you have all the tools and knowledge you need.  Time to put pen to paper, hand to tool, mind to problem.  Action and fine tuning are all that is needed this week to accomplish all that needs to be.

Virgo

Ace of Wands – The muse of inspiration is here to escort you to new ideas, inventions, and possible for some of you a new purpose.  The key to abundance, she whispers in your ear, is feeding the things that make you zing.

Strength – You will have moments this week that seem to take every ounce of strength you have to persist, BUT the universe has your back.  Just as you think you cannot run another step there will be a water stand for you.  A muse, friend, even a kind smile will refresh you enough to do another kilometer.  These bastions of energy are not there by chance.  You have placed them there from previous encounters.  By loaning others your strength in their time of need, the universe is returning it in kind.

Scorpio

Eight of Swords – This week’s muse advises you to let go of the remining bindings of 2020.  This is a new era.  Release old thought patterns that no longer fit into the new paradigm that you are creating.  Set down the chains and walk through the fence of the past into a lighter tidier future.

Sagittarius

Knight of Wands – You are at the right place at the right time.  Look around, take advantage of ever asset that you have this week.  This is a moment to modernize.  Think outside the box as you gallop into a more innovative future.

Capricorn

Nine of Cups – The Muse this week asks you to ponder satisfaction.  The key to this musing is contentment is not about goals, attainment, perfection or checking of boxes.  This is about the actions and the life that surrounds them.  The art of living.  What resides in your foreground, mid-ground, and background?  What “colors” will you paint with for 2021?

Aquarius

Three of Swords – Pain from the past arises this week.  The muses remind you that your fears and insecurities come from past trauma embedded deeply into your psyche.  You can be triggered by them now; however, now you are in power and able to correct, control or walk away from these activations.  There is no reason to fear anything but inaction.

*Pisces

Justice – This Muse helps you balance inequalities and re-focusses your life to your truths.  What are the strongest truths that you wish to live by?  Now apply that to how others treat you as well as how you treat others.  For example, say it is to love first and foremost.  Is the love you put out equally given back?  This week is not only a time to relook at what are your truths and do you live by them, but to see if the company you are in, holds to truths that are acceptable to you.  The challenge is nothing is as shadow and light as we would like it to be.  Life is complex so your truths need a bit of flexibility without inequality.

Tarot and Art Forecast for Week of Nov. 1, 2020

Anna Agoston
Anna Agoston

This week’s artist is Anna Agoston.  Her mode is macrophotography, but her eye leans towards design, form, and emotions.  Agoston takes the us on a Lilliputian trip into an intimate viewing of plant structure.

Much like O’Keefe by taking us close to the subject we lose the concept of the item and begin to see it with a new perspective.  We have now lost the common constructs of the subject and are left with our subconscious giving it a new thought form or emotion.  As Agoston says “What also compels me is the satisfaction of being able to say precisely what I am feeling. I took a picture of a gingko biloba leaf because I loved the simplicity in form, the shape, and the way it hung from the branch. I felt grace and sensuality and needed to convey that. I felt satisfied when I was able to express this with a picture.”

The world is feeling a lot right now, and a lot of it is in the form of suffering.  This might lead us to give up on hope and beauty.  Agoston’s art reminds us if we sit still, take time and focus more intimately, we can find all our emotions in these smaller moments.  And they all have a place or function in the grand design.

May light be on you, around you, and within you,

Nina

Two of Wands – Now is the time to take that Mars energy and point it towards the future. You get a jump start before the rest of the signs begin to hop on the bandwagon after November 12th.  Your challenge is to investigate and take those first steps onto new paths.  Mars the planet of action is in your sign until the first week in January 2021. You have until then to create the necessary energy to shoot into 2021.

Taurus

Knight of Wands – This muse sprinkles inspiration all around you this week.  Your challenge is not speeding past the gifts.  You are in the right place at the right time.  There is fodder to feed your purpose.  So, soak in the good and the bad, for it will help you see more clearly why you are here and what still needs to be done.

Gemini
Anna Agoston

Seven of Coins – The energy this week is best used for getting things done.  It is a great week to cross off items on your to-do list.  However, it is not a beneficial to start anything brand new.  So, head down and keep plugging along the path you are on right now.

Cancer

*Strength– Tapping into your inner strength this week helps create ease both within and without.  As the “feelers” of the signs you will have an array of feelings; however, you are also ok with all of them.  You have tamed your inner beast with compassion while allowing it to express itself without harming others.  Calmness is needed and you have the strength to radiate it.

Leo

Nine of Wands – Lets dip into nines for this is your second.  Nines are cards of preparation for completing a cycle.  Last week your muse advised you to assimilate what you have been working on since your birthday.  The challenge was working smarter not harder. This week you continue taking thoughts and projects to their next level.  The challenge is you will not get anything finished but you will be able to put a dent in it.  The challenge this week is prepping before starting the day and putting a do not disturb sign up when needed.

Virgo

*Lovers – This muse is asking you to re-commit to passion, love, and intimacy.  To take yourself to the next love level, or allow it back in.  Time to let go of the fear of feeling.  The challenge is you will get hurt along the way that is a given, being human.  But also, the things you can create when your heart is open, using passion and love as your main ingredients is dazzling.

Libra
Anna Agoston

Eight of Pentacles – The energy this week is great for working on anything on the material plane.  You need to keep grounded by doing things with your body and how you make your money. The goal is to work smarter not harder.  The challenge is staying out of your head as much as possible.  Therefore, the more you can lean on the rhythm of your day and tweak how you are working or the work itself the better you will feel.

Scorpio
Anna Agoston

*High Priestess– Your second big energy card for the coming year.  This muse will give you dreams and synchronicities to help you intuit how 2021 and your purpose will unfold.   The challenge with this energy is finding and navigating the information with only your intuition.  Your purpose on earth will come in play in a big way in the coming year and the Universe is here to help, but you will need to suss-out an updated map and ship to sail in.  Spend the rest of your birth month making sure you are on the right ship to sail into 2021.

Sagittarius
Anna Agoston

Four of Coins – Your resources are scarce this week.  Pay attention to where, when, and how you tire, get frustrated, resentful, envious and/or hungry.  The challenge is not thinking this is a permanent situation.   All these are signs that you need to pull back and restock soul, mind, bank account, or frig.

Capricorn
Anna Agoston

Five of Coins– The last two weeks have been big energy weeks.  First the muses had you working with balance and harmony.  Then they reminded you are to see your path and tasks like you are working with a blank canvas.  This week has a lot less energy.  It might feel like you are overwhelmed and depleted at the same time.  So the challenge is finding that place of balance two weeks ago and remembering that this moment in time is a blank canvas – no need to redo outdated horrors and fears of the past.

Aquarius
Anna Agostonn

Six of Cups and Eight of Wands – Ok three paths for you all this week.  You choose.  You can tie up loose ends of the past, run head long into the future gathering intel as you go, or a bit of both.  Either way there is a bunch of information for you to decipher.  You can find solutions to problems in the now either from past experiences or experimentation moving forward.  It is up to you which way to cast your gaze, backwards or forward, but either way work in the now.

Pisces

*Chariot – Change is in the air.  The challenge is the oars/sails are in your hands this week.  You will need a solid plan to catch this energy and use it wisely. This week is a prequel to the winds of change that begin around November 13th.  Are you ready to catch the wave? Make this week a practice run for 2021.

Tarot and Art Forecast for Week of August 30, 2020

Aida Muluneh
Aida Muluneh The more loving one – part one

The artist this week is Aida Muluneh.  I usually pull art from the artist’s entire work but today I am homing in on one series, The World is 9.  It centers around a phrase her grandmother would say, “The world is 9, it is never complete and it’s never perfect.”  The concept in Muluneh’s words:  In this world, we are idealists seeking perfection but living in a reality which does not afford us that balance. Life is unpredictable and imperfect – we must conquer these challenges with strength and endurance because the world within us and the world knocking on our door, bears the unknown future.

So far, this year has felt like that – unpredictable and showing all its imperfections.  And dang we have been challenged personally and socially.  But that is the beauty of grokking the world is 9.  By seeing the world’s and our imperfection, we can continue to strive – creating a better world, and at the same time let our growth be infinite.  Thus, not binding us or our world to and ending, a completion nor perfection.

P.S. Signs with an * it is a big week for you.  Virgo this is a perfect time to get an Astrological Tarot Reading for your coming year.  And Pisces it is your halfway mark for your birth year, so if you need a Planetary Reading for a check in now is the time.

Page of Swords – The key to this week’s energy is to use your mind like a sharp tool.    Information is available for you, but it is either hidden or lock away by sphinx-like energy.  Pieces of information will be given if you ask the right questions to decipher the riddles in front of you this week.

Taurus
Aida Muleneh

Eight of Swords – Last week the devil was in the details and details had the potential to be your biggest foe.  This energy seeps into this week as well with a “bonus” feeling of an overwhelming or a closing in.   Thus, you feel choices/decisions are demanded of you.  The key to this is again is either committing to a choice and see how it goes or saying f#$% it and go with the flow.  The goal is to stop thinking you have no choice in the matter, or there is only one right path.  This leads to circular thinking and a sense of inescapable inertia.

Gemini
Aida Muluneh

King of Cups – The intensity of the energies finally recedes for you this week.  Though the themes stay the same.  The last two weeks were challenging you to follow the breadcrumbs of synchronicities and reimagining yourself as the beautiful spark of inspiration with flaws exposed making you shine more brightly.  This week’s energy helps guide you in an alchemization of your all your feelings happy, sad, anger, lonely etc… You need to see that all your emotions make you who you are.  Your motto the Rumi poem The Guest House.

Cancer
Aida Muluneh

Six of Swords – The energy surrounding you might feel a bit muddy and unclear but also has a sense of lightness.   This week is full of small transitions helped by small miracles.  Following the willow wisps will not lead you to danger but safely to a new shore.  Your motto: Follow hope.

Leo

Knight of Wands – The energy this week is wanting you to answer what truly inspires you in nature?  The sand between your toes, staring at fire, smelling a storm on the way, or watching the power of a lion/cat on the hunt…  Now replicate these feelings/inspirations by doing something artistic, experiencing an art form that resonates it, or mediate on it.  Embed that inspiration into your life.

Virgo
Aida Muluneh

Nine of Pentacles – The energy this week wants you to sift your successes and see their worth as a collection.  Find contentment in the positive things you have done.  You have just one more chapter to complete this cycle.  You are on the verge of a transition.  Spend this week in moments of solitude and contemplation of your past and the last steps for this birth years conclusion.  By doing this exercise you will be prepared to move forward with solider foundation.

Libra
Aida Muluneh

King of Wands – Last week’s energy wanted you to pull away from society as much as possible, grounding and gaining some perspective.  Hopefully, you got to do this, can put this insight into action.  If not, luckily this energy still allows time for gaining perspective.   For this week is full of visionary thoughts and advises to look at the bigger picture for solutions.

Scorpio
Aida Muluneh

Two of Wands – Last week’s energy was highly active and best used in building what is already started. However, this week wants you to turn your gaze to the future.  This is a great week to let your imagination ponder where and what you will be wanting to do in 2021.  Imagining now will set the universe working behind the scenes to prep some of the roads ahead.

Sagittarius
Aida Muluneh

*Moon – This is a perfect time to dive into your fears and emotions.  Yep the energy this week would like to test your emotional waters.   In practical matters aspects are hidden from you.  You can wait until this phase passes by the weekend (Tuesday is a Full Moon in Pisces so things will start to clear up after that).  Or you can dive into your shadow side.  The latter is harder but more productive.

Capricorn
Aida Muluneh
Aida Muluneh

Queen of Wands – This energy is best used in the act of creation and self-expression.  This muse comes to embolden you to see your courage and power.  You are the creator of your life.  Are you creating your desires or societies?  If so, this is a great week to set intentions.    If not, then time to do some heavy mirror gazing and reconnecting to your power source and intuition.

Aquarius
Aida Muluneh

Eight of Wands – Last week was about balancing multiple elements into a cohesive path of ease.  Hopefully, you worked on your balancing act, for this week the energy level is still busy.  So, going in with a balanced mind-set will help you navigate all the information coming at you.   This energy also recommends a game plan, while keeping your eyes and mind open as better paths come quickly into your foreground.  If you are good at racing video games, then this week you will do great.  If not, peripheral vision is vital.

Pisces
Aida Muluneh

*Hierophant – The energy this week is about deconstructing your environment or systems and then creating new paradigms.  This can look as simple as pulling everything out of your closet and reorganizing.  Or as complicated as doing this with a work project or relationships.  The strategy is pulling everything apart to see its working and non-working parts, fix and then reassemble.
